You and your colleagues will yet again have the opportunity of presenting and
discussing your best papers or tools, to follow the market trend, or to join
for a specialist birds-of-a-feather session. We bid you welcome to central

PROGRAMME & LOGISTICS
 
Parallel sessions of tutorials and workshops will be held on Monday 2 and
Friday 6 October.
A single stream of conference sessions will cover a large variety of software
engineering issues including both technical and managerial aspects.
Vendor tool presentations will be available in an adjacent room during the
whole Conference and there will be in addition special time windows dedicated
to vendors.
Panel sessions on selected topics will take place on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4
afternoon.
On Monday evening you are invited to the conference opening with an invited
paper presentation followed by the conference reception.

CALL FOR PAPERS
 
 
The Ada in Europe conference will contain a three-day technical programme
covering in principle any software engineering issue related to the use of high
level languages whereby the application to systems as well as use of methods
and tools will play an important role.
 
Among the list of topics for the technical programme are:
 
Languages: Ada 9X and object oriented languages, Ada 9X programming practices
and language issues, bindings to Ada
Run-time, real-time, distribution, safety and reliability
Methods & Tools (object oriented analysis and programming, structured methods,
case environments, etc.)
Lifecycle Aspects (requirements, design, verification/test, etc.)
Management Aspects (training, cost metrics, configuration control, etc.)
Applications (air traffic control, space, civil aircraft, banking, medical,
etc.)
 
Paper selection will be based on your abstract, selection criteria being
relevance, novelty and clear presentation of a strongly limited amount of
highlights.
 
The abstracts shall be forwarded to the Conference Secretariat (Eurospace) in
the following format: A4, starting with name and affiliation, address,
telephone, E-mail and fax, followed by a minimum of 3 pages and a maximum of 6
pages.
The abstract must be adequate for copy.
 
Extended abstracts (4-6 pages) are requested after the notification to the
authors and will be printed in a 'Conference Guide' available at the conference
opening.
 
Final papers shall be available latest at the Conference and will be printed in
the conference proceedings to be issued after the Symposium.

Ideas for and potential contributions to Panel Sessions are very welcome.
