SIGAda '98
Joint SAFEWG/ASISWG BOF

Wednesday, November 11

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

A Joint Safety and Security Working Group (SAFEWG) and Ada Semantic Interface Specification Working Group (ASISWG) BOF will address the safety-critical and very mission-critical application of making India Pale Ale to discuss safety-critical concerns and approaches to addressing these concerns using ASIS.  India Pale Ale has more hops and more alcohol than traditional Ale to serve as a preservative for the long trip to India. Yes, a great tasting Ale is very mission-critical and the process is very safety-critical. General safety-critical issues based on the HRG's "Guidance on the Use of Ada in High Integrity Systems" will be raised with corresponding ASIS analysis. George Romanski, the Ada brewmeister, is planning to provide samples of India Pale Ale brewed using Ada.
