Local Transportation

Transportation between  the Omni Shoreham Hotel and major DC attractions is easy, using a combination of walking, the Metro, and taxicabs.  Taxi and bus service is available between downtown and each of the three area airports: Baltimore-Washington International Airport, Washington National Airport, and Washington-Dulles International Airport. There is also a Metro station at Washington National Airport. Since the SIGAda '98 hotel is close to the Woodley Park Metro station, and there is abundant public transportation, busing will not be provided for conference events.

Airline Information

TBD and TBD Airlines have been designated as official carriers for the attendees of SIGAda '98. TBD will offer special pricing for round trip travel originating in the continental United States during November TBD, 1998, to Baltimore-Washington International Airport, Washington National Airport, and Washington-Dulles International Airport. Discounts include TBD% off lowest applicable fares or special zone pricing. This offer is not combinable with other discounts or promotions. Additional restrictions may apply on international travel. To obtain this special pricing, you or your travel agent must call the TBD Reservation Office at 800-TBD and refer to TBD.

 TBD will offer a TBD% discount off any published excursion fare for which an attendee qualifies. American also agrees to offer a TBD% discount off TBD (highest price) coach class fare. You or your travel agent must call the TBD Service Desk at 800-TBD and refer to TBD to receive these special fares.

Rental Car Information

TBD has been designated the official rental car company for SIGAda '98. Special weekday rates ranging from TBD to TBD a day and weekend rates from $TBD to $TBD will be available. Phone the TBD Convention Desk at 800-TBD and ask for convention #TBD to guarantee special rates.
