Dr. Franco Gasperoni is managing director and co-founder of ACT-Europe, the European GNAT company. Franco holds a Phd from New York University for his work performed at the IBM TJ Watson Research Center on VLIW compilers and architectures. Franco is one of the original members of the GNAT team, and participated to the design and implementation of the initial version of GNAT. Franco has worked as a professor at Telecom Paris in France for over 6 years teaching compiler design, operating systems, computer architecture, software engineering and programming languages to several generations of French computer scince and telecom students. Franco is one of the main architects of JGNAT to Ada 95 development toolset for the Java platform.
