The company markets two software tools supporting the HOOD software development method. HOOD is a real-time embedded software development method originally produced for the European Space Agency. It covers architectural and detailed design, documentation and code generation and is particularly suitable for the development of mission critical systems in Ada, C, or C++. The HOOD tools offered by TNI Europe Limited operate on UNIX, Windows and VMS. Data bridging tools are available to port data between platforms, and reverse engineering tools are available to capture an initial design from source code whether or not it was previously generated by a HOOD tool.
Software tools offered to these markets include STOOD which is widely used in the space satellite market, Airbus and helicopter developments and CP HOOD which is used extensively in the development of many military aeroplanes including Eurofighter, Tornado, Nimrod, Hawk and Harrier; REQTIFY, a powerful, yet non-intrusive requirements traceability tool and CONTROLBUILD, a comprehensive tool which covers the design, coding and platform testing of industrial automation systems.
