Comments from Tri-Ada '96

I repeatedly heard a pair of comments during Tri-Ada '96:

  1. From Managers looking to hire: There aren't enough Ada developers. I have xxx jobs open and I can't find Ada people around.
  2. From Ada developers: There are no Ada jobs around. I'd much rather do Ada than ______, but all I see are non-Ada jobs.

Obviously, these statements are simultaneously true and conflicting. What we have here, "is a failure to communicate." It is to these two groups that SIGAda dedicates this web page.
