The need for a good glossary with definitions of the terminology used
by ASIS was initially brought up at the March 1996 ASISWG/ASISRG
meeting (11 March 1996).  The first really good version of the
Glossary was submitted by Sergey on 4 July 1996.

We accepted the initial version of this Glossary in ASIS version
2.0.J; we then made some minor changes to terms that we kept.  We did,
however, remove a few terms.

Since the initial acceptance of this comment, other changes have been
make to the Glossary.  The final version of the Glossary appearing in
the ASIS standard reflects these changes.
